We Know Land Because We Live It

We’re land people. Outdoorsmen. Project planners. Strategists. Our work starts where the pavement ends, helping clients find, evaluate, and secure land. Whether you’re building a mitigation bank, sourcing acreage for conservation, or investing in land that pays long-term dividends, we bring decades of hands-on experience and insight to every deal.

Our Process

Our approach is built on experience, efficiency, and a deep respect for the land. We focus on what matters, skip what doesn’t, and stay hands-on from first conversation to closing. Every deal is grounded in clarity, purpose, and a sharp understanding of what makes land valuable.

Guided by Experience. Grounded in the Land.

Tim Johnson co-founded Habitat Real Estate Partners after more than a decade in Georgia real estate, including years as a licensed agent and time running his own real estate investment firm. Before that, he worked as a firefighter and AEMT, experience that shaped how he handles high-stakes decisions and builds trust with the people he works with.

Earlier in his career, Tim helped structure land development projects worth more than $30 million while keeping conservation goals intact, giving him firsthand experience balancing profitability with environmental responsibility. That experience now drives his work at Habitat Real Estate Partners, where he and his team source land across the Southeast for renewable energy, conservation, and mitigation projects, working with biologists and local communities to match the right parcel to the right use.

The land belongs to the future.
